Slatan 752 is a steel hearth plate, 1 000 × 800 mm in powder-coated steel.
Wipe it with a damp cloth. Glass cleaner on a warm plate leaves a haze that is very hard to get back off.
It is powder-coated steel: a baked coating on steel, which survives being knocked about far better than wet paint. It is built to be re-lined rather than replaced.
