Kalvane 716 Water-Vapour Fire, 1 000 mm

Kalvane 716 gives mist flame with no heat, 1.2-litre tank, and the flame runs with the heater off — which is how most of these get used from April onwards.

Standby draw is under a watt, which matters for something that stays plugged in all year.

The case is powder-coated steel: a baked coating on steel, which survives being knocked about far better than wet paint. The door hinge is adjustable, which is what keeps the seal tight in year eight.
