Fundo 859 Glass Hearth Plate, 1 000 × 1 000 mm

Edges on Fundo 859 are chamfered, because the one thing that touches this plate every day is a foot.

Wipe it with a damp cloth. Glass cleaner on a warm plate leaves a haze that is very hard to get back off.

It is tempered glass: 8 mm toughened, so a dropped log chips it rather than shatters it. It is built to be re-lined rather than replaced.
