Brenna 597 Table-Top Bioethanol Fire

The burner in Brenna 597 closes with a sliding damper, so the fire is put out rather than left to run dry.

No flue means no heat loss up a chimney, and effectively all of the 4.5 kW stays in the room — which is also why the room has to be big enough.

The burner body is stainless steel: it lives with condensate and salt air without pitting, which mild steel does not. It is built to be re-lined rather than replaced.
