Ashton 455 Log Rack, 1 000 mm

Built for a cottage with a single flue and two rooms to warm, Ashton 455 lives beside the fire rather than in a cupboard, so it is finished on every side.

Hang it or stand it; the loop is sized for a normal hook and the base is wide enough not to tip when a child pulls on it.

It is powder-coated steel: a baked coating on steel, which survives being knocked about far better than wet paint. Firebricks and baffles are wear parts — they are listed as spares and take ten minutes to change.
