Vulcan 889 Leather Bellows

Vulcan 889 is heavy for its size, which is the difference between moving a log and pushing it around.

It is leather: split hide, stitched rather than glued, which is what survives heat.

The finish is heat-resistant paint, and it will mark where the metal touches embers — that is the coating doing its job rather than failing. Cheap enough to keep a spare of, which is the point of a wear part.
