Vitrona 223 Insert with Rising Door, 900 mm
£12,200.00
An insert is only as good as the air behind it: Vitrona 223 takes a 100 mm duct for outside air, so the room is not competing with the fire.
The door runs on adjustable hinges with a compression latch. A door that no longer pulls up tight is the usual reason an insert starts smoking into the room.
The firebox is steel & vermiculite: vermiculite keeps the firebox hot enough to burn the smoke, which is where the efficiency comes from. Firebricks and baffles are wear parts — they are listed as spares and take ten minutes to change.
