Varmio 162 Wood Stove with Log Store, 8 kW

Varmio 162 is a wood stove with log store, 8 kw, 560 × 1 400 × 460 mm, flue 150 mm.

The body is enamelled steel: vitreous enamel over steel wipes clean and does not chalk the way stove paint does.

Secondary and tertiary air are pre-heated before they reach the fire, which is what burns the smoke instead of sending it up the flue. Firebricks and baffles are wear parts — they are listed as spares and take ten minutes to change.

Care

Sweep the flue once a season and check the door rope every autumn: a stove that has started smoking into the room is almost always a seal, not a chimney.
