Varmio 109 Wood Stove with Log Store, 8 kW

The air on Varmio 109 is set with one lever for the fire and one for the glass, and the glass stays clear because the wash air enters above the door rather than through it.

The door seals on a braided rope gasket in a machined channel. That channel is the part that decides whether a stove still shuts tight after a decade of slamming.

Secondary and tertiary air are pre-heated before they reach the fire, which is what burns the smoke instead of sending it up the flue. Twenty seasons of use leave the paint tired long before the steel gives up.
