Thermofix 977 Natural Firelighters, 32 Pieces

Thermofix 977 stacks with air around it — store it off the ground and under cover, not sealed in plastic.

Hardwood burns longer than softwood at the same weight, and leaves less soot. Softwood lights faster, which is what kindling is for.

Nothing here is treated, painted or glued — burning treated timber ruins a flue and a room's air in one evening. There is nothing in it to seize or wear out of tolerance.
