Stonewell 340 Travertine Surround

Built for a low-ceilinged room where a big glass would overheat, Stonewell 340 is the part of a fireplace people actually touch.

Nothing here is load-bearing: the surround dresses the build, and the insert carries its own flue.

It is travertine: warm, open-pored stone that suits a room that is not trying to look new. Nothing in it is glued: the parts that face the fire come out with a screwdriver.
