Steelvit 400 Corner Glass Hearth Plate

Steelvit 400 sits flat on the floor without fixings — its own weight holds it, and a fixed plate is a plate that traps damp under it.

It ships on a pallet, standing on edge — the way glass and stone survive a lorry.

It is tempered glass: 8 mm toughened, so a dropped log chips it rather than shatters it. The door hinge is adjustable, which is what keeps the seal tight in year eight.
