Stavik 780 Tunnel Insert, See-Through

Stavik 780 is rated at 13 kW, open on both sides of the wall, stated with the casing built as designed rather than with the insert on a bench.

The convection casing is separate from the firebox, so the outside of the build stays at a temperature you can stand next to.

Every lining panel and the baffle are stock parts — an insert that is built into a wall has to be serviceable from the front, and this one is. Firebricks and baffles are wear parts — they are listed as spares and take ten minutes to change.

Care

Clean the glass cold with damp ash on newspaper — it is mildly abrasive and free. Have the flue swept once a season.
