Slatan 596 Granite Hearth Slab, 1 200 × 400 mm

Edges on Slatan 596 are chamfered, because the one thing that touches this plate every day is a foot.

Wipe it with a damp cloth. Glass cleaner on a warm plate leaves a haze that is very hard to get back off.

It is granite: dense, hard and effectively unmarkable by heat. Nothing in it is glued: the parts that face the fire come out with a screwdriver.
