Slatan 352 Glass Hearth Plate, 1 200 × 1 200 mm

Edges on Slatan 352 are chamfered, because the one thing that touches this plate every day is a foot.

Wipe it with a damp cloth. Glass cleaner on a warm plate leaves a haze that is very hard to get back off.

It is tempered glass: 8 mm toughened, so a dropped log chips it rather than shatters it. Twenty seasons of use leave the paint tired long before the steel gives up.
