Ravenna 909 Outdoor Chiminea

Ravenna 909 is an outdoor chiminea, 550 × 1 250 mm — wood, enclosed firebox with flue.

It ships flat where it sensibly can, and bolts together with a spanner in under twenty minutes.

It is cast iron: slow to warm and slow to let go, which is the whole argument for cast iron in a room used all evening. Nothing in it is glued: the parts that face the fire come out with a screwdriver.

Care

Tip the ash out after every use, or wet ash will eat the steel from the inside. Cover it if you can; nothing here minds rain otherwise.
