Podesta 281 Corner Glass Hearth Plate

Edges on Podesta 281 are chamfered, because the one thing that touches this plate every day is a foot.

It is tempered glass: 8 mm toughened, so a dropped log chips it rather than shatters it.

Wipe it with a damp cloth. Glass cleaner on a warm plate leaves a haze that is very hard to get back off. The door hinge is adjustable, which is what keeps the seal tight in year eight.
