Ostrella 924 Grand Three-Sided System, 1 600 mm

The glass on Ostrella 924 is 4 mm ceramic, which is the part you look at and the part the heat attacks first.

The door runs on adjustable hinges with a compression latch. A door that no longer pulls up tight is the usual reason an insert starts smoking into the room.

The firebox is cast iron: slow to warm and slow to let go, which is the whole argument for cast iron in a room used all evening. Firebricks and baffles are wear parts — they are listed as spares and take ten minutes to change.

Care
