Optiflam 566 gives 2 kW fan heater, flame effect runs without heat, and the flame runs with the heater off — which is how most of these get used from April onwards.
Standby draw is under a watt, which matters for something that stays plugged in all year.
The case is steel & tempered glass: steel for the frame, tempered glass for the part you look through. Firebricks and baffles are wear parts — they are listed as spares and take ten minutes to change.
