Novaris 863 Pellet Stove, 9 kW

A pellet stove is a small automatic boiler with a window: Novaris 863 modulates between 25% and 100% and holds the set temperature rather than swinging around it.

Because combustion air is drawn through a sealed duct, the stove does not compete with an extractor fan or a tight new building for air.

The body is steel & cast iron: a steel body heats quickly, the cast iron door and top hold that heat after the fire has burnt down. Firebricks and baffles are wear parts — they are listed as spares and take ten minutes to change.

Care

Vacuum the burn pot weekly in the heating season and empty the ash pan. Have the flue and the heat exchanger cleaned once a year.
