Kaldera 263 Outdoor Fireplace, Wall Type

Kaldera 263 drains — the floor is drilled, so a week of rain does not leave a bowl of water and ash.

Thickness is where outdoor fires are won: thin steel warps into a dish after one season of hot fires, and this one is heavy enough not to.

Nothing on it is painted where the flame touches — paint on the inside of a fire bowl is a decision you regret the first evening. It is built to be re-lined rather than replaced.

Care

Tip the ash out after every use, or wet ash will eat the steel from the inside. Cover it if you can; nothing here minds rain otherwise.
