Hartholz 155 Kiln-Dried Hardwood, 1 m³ Crate

Hartholz 155 stacks with air around it — store it off the ground and under cover, not sealed in plastic.

Hardwood burns longer than softwood at the same weight, and leaves less soot. Softwood lights faster, which is what kindling is for.

Nothing here is treated, painted or glued — burning treated timber ruins a flue and a room's air in one evening. Twenty seasons of use leave the paint tired long before the steel gives up.
