Calacatta 985 Steel Frame Surround

Calacatta 985 arrives in three pieces and goes together on site — a one-piece surround of this size does not get through a door.

Nothing here is load-bearing: the surround dresses the build, and the insert carries its own flue.

It is powder-coated steel: a baked coating on steel, which survives being knocked about far better than wet paint. Twenty seasons of use leave the paint tired long before the steel gives up.
