Built for a weekend house that has to come up to temperature in an hour, Brandel 776 is meant to disappear into the wall and leave nothing visible but fire.
Every lining panel and the baffle are stock parts — an insert that is built into a wall has to be serviceable from the front, and this one is.
The firebox is steel & vermiculite: vermiculite keeps the firebox hot enough to burn the smoke, which is where the efficiency comes from. Nothing in it is glued: the parts that face the fire come out with a screwdriver.

Care
Clean the glass cold with damp ash on newspaper — it is mildly abrasive and free. Have the flue swept once a season.
