Bramond 671 Soapstone Wood Stove, 9 kW

Built for a 1930s house where the chimney was bricked up for forty years, Bramond 671 takes 33 cm logs, which is the length most sellers cut to.

Secondary and tertiary air are pre-heated before they reach the fire, which is what burns the smoke instead of sending it up the flue.

The body is soapstone & steel: soapstone stores heat for hours, so the room is still warm long after the last log has gone. Twenty seasons of use leave the paint tired long before the steel gives up.
