The firebox in Bramond 637 is lined with fireclay brick, and every panel of it is a stock spare.
The body is enamelled steel: vitreous enamel over steel wipes clean and does not chalk the way stove paint does.
Secondary and tertiary air are pre-heated before they reach the fire, which is what burns the smoke instead of sending it up the flue. It is built to be re-lined rather than replaced.
