Bramond 558 Wood Stove with Log Store, 8 kW

The firebox in Bramond 558 is lined with vermiculite, and every panel of it is a stock spare.

Secondary and tertiary air are pre-heated before they reach the fire, which is what burns the smoke instead of sending it up the flue.

The body is cast iron: slow to warm and slow to let go, which is the whole argument for cast iron in a room used all evening. The door hinge is adjustable, which is what keeps the seal tight in year eight.
