The air on Bramond 409 is set with two slides — primary and wash, and the glass stays clear because the wash air enters above the door rather than through it.
The flue spigot can be turned to the top or the back on assembly — decide when you see the chimney, not when you order.
The body is steel & cast iron: a steel body heats quickly, the cast iron door and top hold that heat after the fire has burnt down. The door hinge is adjustable, which is what keeps the seal tight in year eight.
