About Zacidite
Zacidite is an online shop for fireplaces, stoves and everything that connects them to a chimney, run from Oslo. We ship to the United Kingdom, across Europe and worldwide, and we price in pounds sterling.
What we stock
400 products across 12 categories — wood-burning stoves, fireplace inserts, fireplace tools and accessories, flue systems and chimney parts, bioethanol fireplaces, electric fires, outdoor fire pits, pellet stoves, surrounds, fuel, hearth slabs and spare parts.
How we price
One clean number per product. No struck-through prices, no countdowns, no invented recommended retail price to discount from.
What we tell you
Every listing carries the dimensions, the flue diameter where there is one, the weight and the material. Heat outputs are the design figures published for the appliance — we do not dress them up, and we do not claim approvals we cannot show you.
What we do not do
We do not install. A solid-fuel appliance has to be connected and signed off by someone competent — in the UK that means a HETAS-registered installer or a building control notification under Approved Document J. We would rather say that plainly than sell you a stove and leave it out.
Buying from us
You have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 covers you if the goods turn out to be faulty. Delivery costs and timings are in the Shipping Policy; the full terms are in the Terms of Sale.
